Travel From Bangkok to Koh Phangan


BY Airplane

 • There are many travel alternatives.  You can fly to the airports of Koh Samui, Suratthani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and from there you connect by bus and boat to Koh Phangan. By Train

   All Southern trains stop in Chumphon and Suratthani station where you will be provided with a connecting bus to the ferry pier. Please check price and schedule on the website of The State Railway of Thailand.


By Bus

   The government bus (air-condition) to Koh Phangan leaves from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok at around 7:30 pm and connects with a ferry boat at 9:00 am the next day at Donsak Pier in Suratthani province.  Joint tickets normally include air-condition bus and ferry boat to Koh Phangan.


By  Speed Boat

  This way is most popular for tourists who want to make a large part of the journey on the water. Several transport companies provide daily travel between Bangkok and Koh Phangan. Start with air-condition bus at “Khao San Road” in Bangkok and connect with speed boat at the pier in Chumphon province. For more details please visit the following websites.

 

From Mainland to Koh Phangan & from Koh Phangan to others Island
